Behind The Byline

In the world of business it is personal. You want to work with someone you like. So here’s the dealio:

I’m creative, energetic, willing to see two sides of a story (although my husband may disagree), loving Mom, dedicated to creative ideas. I am a world traveler, have snowboarded in the Alps, love the beach and thinking up fun ideas that can help a business, person or organization achieve their goals.

A Bronx native who has lived in Hoboken, NJ for 20 + years I can officially call myself a Jersey Girl. I’ve run 10 marathons (with a personal best of 3:33) and met my husband when I made fun of him for wearing running shoes out to a bar. Running shoes are for running not for wearing out to bars. I have a good eye for trends and bullshit (so don’t try it) and I’m a long-term thinker and planner. I enjoy fairness, honesty, good laughs, and smart humor. The biggest enjoyments in my career are contributing, using my assets and providing people with easy-to-understand, fun and engaging information.

So how did I get here? I majored in English at Cortland State University I spent four years working on the college newspaper and was a DJ on our college radio station, WSUC. Upon graduation I had decided my career would be in journalism or as a detective with the New York City Police.

I like asking questions. I like finding answers. I like seeing a project from start to completion. At 19 that is about all I knew about me and how I would like to begin my career.

What’s next, I’m not sure. But I look forward to continuing my journey with you.
